SecondHand
Reimagining sustainable architecture through VR and reclaimed materials.
How can VR and a database of reclaimed materials redefine sustainable architectural design and construction?

What is the future of construction and design?
What if there was a database of all the leftovers suitable for re-usage in architecture?

SecondHand is the project questioning the notion of newness in architecture, and how can we be more sustainable in design. A library of found and scanned objects was used in a custom-made VR application to allocate those in a building structure.

New modes of representation and construction were used to speculate that using Oculus and Virtual Reality to construct a structure by throwing objects with their real material qualities and therefore physics.
